SF&ANIME_RPG Sci-Fi & Anime RPG Discussion and Play-by-Echo-Mail.
Rules revision 06-Feb-95:
The most important rule is to have fun. This echo is for the enjoyment
of RPG, Anime, and Sci-Fi fans everywhere!
1.) Be excellent and party on! No flaming please. The only thing
that is ever accomplished with flaming is proof of one's immaturity.
If you are flamed by a user, please ignore it or netmail your
grievance to me and I will handle it.
2.) Please leave the job of Moderating to the Moderator. As Moderator,
I reserve the right to change or append these rules as I see fit
to preserve the topic of this echo. I also reserve the right to
appoint and remove Co-Moderator(s) or Alternate Moderator(s)
when the need arises.
3.) I do not require, but request you have your real name somewhere in
the post. In the event that your BBS is unable to put your real
name in the "TO:" slot, you can sign the message with your real
name. This is optional.
4.) This is a non-profit discussion area. Outright commercialism and
salesmanship are not allowed. Product reviews will be allowed only
to give readers an impartial judgement of any topic related
commercially available product. Piracy and other illegal activities
will be brought to the proper authorities.
5.) Since this is an RPG echo, please try to avoid the typical
"My character can beat up yours!" or "I got a 500th level fighter
and he'll take all of you on!" arguments. Also, please avoid
flaming other game systems. Reasonable posts about why you don't
like a game system with a list of reasons why are acceptable and
encouraged. RPG debate can be handled in a civilized manner.
6.) Potential Gamemasters who wish to run a Play-by-Echo-Mail game here
must have the game approved for topic relevance. S/He can also
provide The following information: Game System and Setting, Minimum
and Maximum Number of Players, Approximate PC Level and/or XP, and
a brief description of not more than 25 lines containing background
and restrictions on PC options (character class, available equipment).
This information along with any other info the GM wishes to provide
will be placed on a list which will appear weekly if the GM desires.
Organization of a Play by Netmail or Snail Mail game is also welcome
here and encouraged.
7.) Please keep the language to a dull roar. This is an echo open to
people of all ages and maturity levels. If such language is
required to roll play a character properly, please use the
!@#$%^&*()+.? character containing words sparingly. Please avoid
certain mature "innuendos" that would be to sensitive for younger
audiences.
8.) High ASCII is not allowed in this conference. ASCII characters
must be kept in the 32-126 range. Some non-IBM systems crash and
burn when other characters are encountered in a post.
Thank you for your support and cooperation.
Jake Krieger.
